When flying to Magaluf you will find yourself arriving at Palma Airport which is around 15 – 25 minutes drive to Magaluf. However this time may vary if you are traveling via coach or with your holiday REP. If you traveling by taxi then expect to pay around €30 – €35. Also remember that Magaluf is 1 hour ahead of the UK. Magaluf is best described as an adults version of Disney Land, a location where you can purely leave all you worries and inhibitions at home and let loose whilst you slip into the all famous state of temporary sun madness. Try not to stay in bed all day as Magaluf has lots to offer. Although after a heavy night out, the temptation to stay in bed all day is all to appealing, dig deap and try to drag yourself out of bed and into your pool. Magaluf’s 1600m stretch Beach is always a popular option. Rammed full of half naked, bronzed holidaymakers toping up their tans as they lay on the crystal white sand. However if lying in the sun isn’t your thing then why not dabble into some of the beaches water activities. From Jet Skiing, Para Gliding, Banana boats, booze cruse, Donut Rings, Scuba Diving, Magalufs beach has it all. For shopping why not head to Palma City Centre which is around a 20 min bus journey, costing as little as 3 Euros. Here you will experience a nice refreshing shopping break away from the hectic Magaluf scene. GETTING FROM THE AIRPORT – PALMA AIRPORT TRANSFERS
You can go by bus but it means going into Palma and then changing. It can be a lengthy operation depending upon your time of arrival. The easiest way is by taxi and the approximate cost is around 50 euros and it takes around 15-20 minutes. If you need to visit a doctor we would recommend you first visit a chemist (farmacia) beause they are well qualified. But if you still have to visit a doctor, there are many private doctors in town – a visit will cost you between 75-85€ – which you can claim back on your insurance. There is also a national health clinic.
