When flying to Magaluf you will find yourself arriving at Palma Airport which is around 15 – 25 minutes drive to Magaluf.  However this time may vary if you are traveling via coach or with your holiday REP. If you traveling by taxi then expect to pay around €30 – €35. Also remember that Magaluf is 1 hour ahead of the UK. Magaluf is best described as an adults version of Disney Land, a location where you can purely leave all you worries and inhibitions at home and let loose whilst you slip into the all famous state of temporary sun madness. If your looking for a resort that offers endless sunshine, sandy beaches, exotic cocktails, an electric atmosphere and a heated nightlife, then this is most definitely the place for you. If your after a quiet and relaxing holiday then we’d probably advise you to look elsewhere. With a forever expanding range of Bars, Clubs and Attractions and with so much to do and see, this is definitely a resort where you’ll find it impossible to be bored.

MAGALUF’S AVERAGE TEMPERATURE

As Magaluf holds an extensive range of  Bars, Nightclubs and an endless amount of Attractions this is not a place for lightweights. Almost every venue you enter has its own special and very appealing  offers so do be sure to take advantage. for a crash course on Magaluf –  Magaluf’s night scene consists of 2 interlinking areas, which are named BCM SQUARE and THE MAIN STRIP.

BCM SQUARE – MAGALUF

Situated out side the world famous BCM main arena is the notorious BCM Square. Here you will find such popular bars as Coyote Uglys, Baywatch show bar, Downunder and many more. With a huge outside drinking terrace spreading through out the square, this is definitely the spot to mingle. Offering diversity and entertainment BCM square consists of Live shows, sexy podium dancers, 2 huge outside TV screens, waiter service, 1 and a half Litre drinks towers, outside DJ’s, a rodeo Bull and much more. This is undoubtedly the place to get the party started.

MAGALUF’S MAIN STRIP

As your walk out of BCM square turn left and discover Magalufs very own Main Strip. Here you will find it heaving with holiday makers allowing for that ultimate party atmosphere to take you over. Clubbers often start from the bottom of the main strip and slowly make their way to the top. With over 50 Bars and over 4 Nightclubs your spoilt for choice. To envision all around you will see Sun Kissed Clubbers,fancy dress and the odd nudist chanting away as the summer vibe surges through the night. With the competition between the bars being fierce on the strip be sure to take advantage of all the special drinks deals on offer. THINGS TO DO –  MAGALUF

Try not to stay in bed all day as Magaluf has lots to offer. Although after a heavy night out, the temptation to stay in bed all day is all to appealing, dig deap and try to drag yourself out of bed and into your pool. Magaluf’s 1600m stretch Beach is always a popular option. Rammed full of half naked, bronzed holidaymakers toping up their tans as they lay on the crystal white sand. However if lying in the sun isn’t your thing then why not dabble into some of the beaches water activities. From Jet Skiing, Para Gliding, Banana boats, booze cruse, Donut Rings, Scuba Diving, Magalufs beach has it all. For shopping why not head to Palma City Centre which is around a 20 min bus journey, costing as little as 3 Euros. Here you will experience a nice refreshing shopping break away from the hectic Magaluf scene. MAGALUF DIALING CODE (0034) leaving you first digit out. To call the UK simple dial 0044 then the number you want, leaving off the 1st digit. For example 0191-999-6666 in the UK would be 0044-191-999-6666 from Mallorca. If dialling to the Republic of Ireland it is the same except the international dialling code is 00353. You can reverse charge by dialling 1408 and you will get connected to the operator.

GETTING FROM THE AIRPORT – PALMA AIRPORT TRANSFERS
You can go by bus but it means going into Palma and then changing. It can be a lengthy operation depending upon your time of arrival. IF YOU’RE ILL

If you need to visit a doctor we would recommend you first visit a chemist (farmacia) beause they are well qualified. But if you still have to visit a doctor, there are many private doctors in town – a visit will cost you between 75-85€ - which you can claim back on your insurance. There is also a national health clinic.

The following buses run from Magalluf/Palma Nova to Palma: the 104, 105, 106 and 107. Ask your rep for more details.
